Turkish Ambassador protests Armenian statue. If it's not genocide what is it? Collateral damage?

Turkey has lodged a formal complaint to the Danish foreign ministry about plans to install in Copenhagen a sculpture commemorating the 100th anniversary of what Armenians call the 1915 genocide. Turkey has called the sculpture an insult to the 60 thousand people of Turkish origin who live in Denmark. City politicians have told Turkey to stay out of Danish affairs. The nine metre high sculpture called The Dream will spend ten days in one of Copenhagen’s busiest squares in May to remind people of the 1.5 million Armenians killed by the Ottoman Empire 100 years ago in what the Pope recently labelled genocide. The Turkish ambassador to Denmark Mehmet Donmez has been talking to Malcolm Brabant.
