Yee Peng

Yi Peng is the famous traditional in Chiang Mai, province in Northern Thailand. In history, it is recorded that one time there was cholera in the region Haripunjaya. Many burgers evacuate in Hongsawadee for 6 years and go back to the old town. They have to make sacrifices to put pots and candles floating on the water to the Deads. It's called phantom float or fly lantern. It is believed that launching the lantern can send a person’s bad luck and misfortune away into the sky. And also worship Pra Ged Kaew Ju La Manee of belief 's people in Northern.
