After the B.C. sawmill explosions: are workplaces safer?

On April 23, 2012, the Lakeland Mills sawmill in Prince George exploded, killing two and injuring 24 others. A coroner’s inquest into the deaths made 33 recommendations to government bodies, RCMP, emergency responders, and the industry to prevent future tragedies and improve investigations into workplace deaths and injuries.
