a Gorgeous Choral Theme Containing Plainchant: Played and Sung at My Church

This piece, which is by Maurice Duruflé, contains some very well-sung plainchant. Some of the men from the choir stood up in the balcony to do it, so when it drifted down from above, it sounded quite ethereal. I wish they'd do plainchant at my church more often. I adore it. I've always thought that I was a closet Catholic, except that I have some rather Protestant views on some things, like not needing an intermediary before God. :-P Sorry for the rather faint recording; I didn't have time to adjust my levels today. #church #choir #Duruflé #organ #plainchant
