Inheritance - Is cutting children off for their own good?

Will you leave your children your wealth when you die? Comedian Lenny Henry has said it is 'right' for rich parents to cut their children out of inheritance - so they can learn to 'stick up for themselves'. Tough love that will help your children in the future, or totally unfair?
