My Week in a Song for Week #23 of 2015

DON'T GET AROUND MUCH ANYMORE from 1942 Words & Music by Duke Ellington and Bob Russell is the sing that gets me all caught up to week #23 after delays in posting due to near-constant travel.

Did anyone else love Natalie Cole's Unforgettable album? That album was played and played and then played some more when I was living in Beverly Hills as a single gal 25-ish years ago.

I realized as I learned this one today that another of my songs of the week, Too Young, I also knew from the Unforgettable album.

Now I want to play the whole record on ukulele, except maybe the one that requires lyrics in French since taking on chords and a new language at the same time sounds daunting.

There are many songs I want to sing in Spanish and Hawaiian, and as soon as I can manage singing well in English while playing ukulele at the same time, I will take those on!
