Gurkhas have been in the spotlight this year as the Brigade celebrates and commemorates 200 years of service to the Crown.
The fascinating story of how Nepalese soldiers came to join the British Army and the loyalty and bravery they have shown ever since is told at The Gurkha Museum in Winchester.
Jill Misson was given a guided tour by the Curator Gavin Edgerley-Harris
