Police respond to Belfast robberies concern #BBCNolan

Belfast City councillor Jim Rodgers has hit out at what he has called thugs who robbed an east Belfast shop twice in the space of 12 hours.

The two robberies, at a shop on the Albertbridge Road, are believe to have been carried out by the same two men.

Councillor Rodgers says the situation is getting worse and that there an average of six robberies a week in the area.
