My guest today is singer/songwriter Stephen Bishop. I have been a fan of his for many years, and it was an absolute thrill to interview him. I had so many questions for him and he was very generous with his time. We shared a lot of laughs during our conversation. His hits go all the way back to the mid-70's and his debut album "Careless". That record included the timeless "On and On" as well as "Save it for a Rainy Day". I had all of my vinyl copies in front of me during our talk, and Stephen was gracious enough to answer all of my questions about even the smallest detail. His other hits included "It Might Be You" from Tootsie and "Separate Lives" from White Knights. His brand new album is called "Be Here Then". It is his first studio release in seven years. It was worth the wait. It is so good from top to bottom. His voice is perfect and the songs are wonderful. Two tracks from it are featured here, as well as the song that started it all.
