created a patch in maxmsp that plays the tracks and randomly choses the mix the speed and volume of each track.

Luca Dellatorre reimagines the sounds of water in Southwark, London.

He writes:

"To make the piece I've used 5 recordings that have to do with water and the way is is used by people Two recordings are indoor: - the toilet pipe is in my office leaking, creates quite nice cavernous drops sound - hand drier recording in my office - Southwark fountain with background noise of people around - tonal mechanical service on the walkway close to London Bridge. This is not water in itself but is related to water because it is a water cooling plant. - irrigation sprinkler in King's College garden - irrigation pump at the same location behind the shard.

All the recordings happen in Southwark and all related to water."
