The Enough Project has welcomed sanctions imposed by the United Nations on 6 generals.
On Wednesday the UN Security Council slapped travel bans and asset freezes on the generals from both the government and opposition sides, including the commander of the presidential guard and the second-in-command of the opposition forces loyal to former Vice-President Riek Machar.
The US based lobby group says the restrictions are an essential step in combatting unchecked impunity.
