Old Chelmsfordians FC's Brian Terry is the winner of the Essex County FA's 'Groundsman of the Year' Award for 2015. His club compete in the Mid Essex League and they play their home games at the Sports & Social Club in Lawford Lane, Chelmsford. Fellow Mid Essex League club Tillingham Hotspur finished in second place thanks to the efforts of their groundsman, Terry Lewis, while Eric Gallacher of another Mid Essex club Writtle secured third position.
