50 Environmental Inspectors appointed in Juba

The National Minister for Environment says everyone needs to play a role in protecting the environment and keeping our cities and towns clean.
Minister Deng Deng Hoc Yai has issued a ministerial order directing all chief administrators of government institutions to ensure rubbish and waste is effectively managed and for all private houses to make sure their house and 5 meters outside is kept clean and free from rubbish.
Speaking to Sebit William this morning on the Miraya Breakfast Show, he said 50 Environmental Inspectors have been appointed in Juba to help implement the campaign.
The inspectors will visit business and private houses who violate waste management and other environmental laws and will raise awareness of good environmental practices.
