Colourful Independence Day celebrations in South Sudan

It was a colourful celebration and crowds turned up for the 4th Independence Day celebrations at the Dr John Garang mausoleum yesterday.

Behind the smiles and dance, the day was marked with messages of hope for peace and an end to the current conflict and suffering.
