Government Steps up efforts to control Food Insecurity

Government has stepped in to control food insecurity in Greater Bahal Ghazal state.

Dr John Kanisio, the Secretary General of the national food Security Council, says government has dispatched 5 thousand tons of food items to states worst affected by the conflict and areas experiencing low crop harvests.

Speaking to Radio Miraya on Wednesday, Kanisio said the Tanzanian government has donated 5 thousand tons of food items to stave off the hunger in South Sudan.

He spoke to Sebit William in this discussion.
