Toxic mine waste spill in Colorado prompts river safety worries in Utah

Environmental agencies in Utah are on alert for impacts from a toxic mine waste spill in Colorado. The acidic sludge will reach Lake Powell by way of the San Juan River. The Bureau of Land Management is advising river runners to stay off the popular destination this weekend.
