My Fascination with the Paranormal: a True Confession

It may seem strange, but although I definitely consider myself a Christian, I am also fascinated by anything paranormal--including psychic phenomena. Sometimes, as it was last night, this is to my detriment. You can hear all about it here if you are so inclined. I've been this way ever since I was a small child. In fact, to finish a thought that was interrupted by my ten minutes of posting time coming to an end: at one time when I was thirteen or so, I thought that the ghost of John Lennon was hanging around me. That, of course, is ridiculous; if the ghost of good old Johnny-boy were wandering around this earth for some reason, I'm sure he'd have better places to go and things to do. Anyway, I sort of feel divided on this subject; in a way I feel that my faith is telling me I shouldn't believe in the paranormal, and yet my faith also tells me that there are things out there beyond the capacity of our understanding. So I invite comments... as long as they're not from beyond the grave. :-) #paranormal #religion #spirituality
