President Mohammadu Buhari's special Adviser on Media wants enhanced welfare for Nigerian journalists

The need to pay journalists in the country attractive wages to enable them perform their constitutional role creditably, has been highlighted.

The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina made the call at a forum in Lagos for the reception of ten distinguished journalists recently elevated to higher positions.
