WFP and UNICEF Ramp up Nutrition support in South Sudan

Nutritionists have expressed concern over the high rate of malnutrition in Northern Bahal Ghazal State. The state will host #WFP and #UNICEF on Wednesday as the two UN agencies launch a nutrition strategy in Aweil on Wednesday. Darlene Raphael, head of Nutrition in WFP South Sudan, says the launch of the nutrition strategy in Aweil, is a strong reminder that the state is now in the same league of states affected by malnutrition.
