Jesse Matthew charged with murdering Morgan Harrington

Jesse L. Matthew Jr., the convicted rapist who stands accused of killing University of Virginia student Hannah Graham, has now been hit with another murder charge, this time for the 2009 death of Virginia Tech student Morgan Harrington.
An Albemarle County grand jury reportedly indicted Matthew of abduction and murder in the death of Morgan Harrington, who disappeared nearly six years ago after getting locked out of a concert in Charlottesville. Back in June, her mother, Gil Harrington, spoke of the difficulty of waiting. "However long it takes to find justice, I have to accept it." Gil Harrington and her husband Dan channelled some of their grief into founding a non-profit called Help Save the Next Girl, in the hope that what happened to their daughter would never happen to anyone else. Those hopes were dashed one year ago when Hannah Graham went missing shortly after encountering Matthew on the Charlottesville Downtown Mall. Matthew has pleaded not guilty and will stand trial next July. For the Harringtons, a trial can go but so far. "It's never going to be over for us. I'm always going to be without my daughter."
