A British mother is appearing before the European Parliament in Brussels today to call for an international inquiry into a Spanish baby trafficking scandal. Ruth Appleby believes her daughter Rebecca was one of an estimated 300,000 babies stolen and sold to adopted families from the 1950s to the late 1990s. She will be appearing at the European Parliament's Petitions Committee on Thursday. Radio X reporter Rebecca Falconer travelled to Yorkshire to hear Ruth's extraordinary story ahead of today's visit to Brussels.
