Two Women

What we do for a living can say so much about who we are, and at the same time it can say so little. It makes sense that the thing we do day after day could come to define us over time, but what about the person who clocks in when you do? What about the person in the seat across from you..the one who arrived from the other side of the subway platform? The one who is twice your age or half your age, the one you can't stand or the one who you share the most intimate details of your life with.  Two women who grew up in separate parts of the country. Two women from very different backgrounds. Both having moved to New York for different reasons, wind up becoming best friends, while working in the same industry. They agreed to share their stories anonymously.
