Stelzer on TPP: Economics Less Important than Geopolitics

President Obama's 12-nation Trans-Pacific Partnership ( TPP) agreed earlier this week, is the cornerstone of his strategy to direct more US exports towards Asia. It has been described as the biggest free trade agreement for a generation. But he still has to sell it to Congress. Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton spoke out against the deal on Wednesday, fearing it could do more harm than good to American industry and consumers. She had backed the agreement when she was secretary of state during President Obama's first term. Irwin Stelzer of the Hudson Institute in Washington tells us what he makes of Hillary Clinton's U-turn.
