The RCMP is now investigating a former government employee who allegedly told colleagues to delete emails requested through freedom of information. Earlier this year, Tim Duncan revealed he had been told to delete emails related to B.C.'s Highway of Tears, referring to missing and murdered Aboriginal women along Highway 16. B.C.'s privacy commissioner investigated, and yesterday released a damning report on how the province deals with access to information requests. The report found a transport ministry assistant not only deleted emails and disregarded access to information requests, he lied about doing it under oath. We speak to Tim Duncan.
