Suraj Patel- The Brown Barack

In our dope new episode, Akaash and guest host Surina Jindal sit down with our first political guest and possibly the Brown Obama: Suraj Patel. They sit down and chart all the wild things he did before finding himself as an “advance man” in Obama’s first Presidential Campaign. Suraj also tells us about growing up in Indiana in a small town with no diversity, and how as a young man he subscribed to the societal philosophy of a melting pot and how that has now shifted. He then breaks down our community’s influence in politics and what that is/where that comes from. He then shares his thoughts on how we all need to be more involved.
