BIrkenhead BID Voting starts to Say Yes To Change

Radio Merseyside Interview on the Tony Snell Breakfast Show 4.11.2015 Over 500 businesses in Birkenhead are being sent voting papers this week enabling them to take part in a ballot to decide whether to establish a Business Improvement District in the town centre.
Wirral Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Wirral Council and local businesses are proposing the introduction of a BID in an effort to regenerate the town. After almost a year of consultation and debate, eligible businesses will receive their voting papers this week and votes will be cast over a four-week period. The ballot closes on Tuesday 1st December and results will be announced later that week.
