SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts (AP) — A New Hampshire woman is joining the growing ranks of accusers suing Bill Cosby and alleging defamation. Kristina Ruehli says Cosby falsely accused her of lying when she came forward last year and accused him of raping her in 1965. The Windham, New Hampshire, woman's lawsuit was filed Monday in federal court in Springfield, Massachusetts, near where Cosby has a home. It seeks unspecified damages. It follows similar civil actions by other Cosby accusers. Dozens of women have come forward in recent years to accuse Cosby of sexual impropriety spanning decades. Cosby played Dr. Cliff Huxtable on "The Cosby Show" and has been married for decades. He has denied the women's accusations and has not been criminally charged. The statute of limitations has expired in most of the cases. Cosby spokesman Andrew Wyatt says he has no comment.
