IGAD Heads of State summit to be held in Juba next week

An IGAD Heads of State summit will be held in Juba next Thursday.
Heads of State from the regional body will meet in Juba on November 19 to discuss the implementation of the peace agreement.
Presidential spokesperson, Ateny Wek Ateny confirmed Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn and IGAD chief mediator Ambassador Seyoum Mesfin will be in attendance.
SPLM/A-IO leader Riek Machar is also expected. The Presidential press secretary revealed this to Radio Miraya at the President's offices in Juba.
President Salva Kiir was due to address the nation on Thursday, but the address was called off until further notice.
Ateny Wek Ateny said the event was called postponed to allow the President attend to pressing issues that needed to be incorporated in his speech.
