Fort St John man starts counterpetition to welcome Syrian refugees to the northeast

Previously on Daybreak we spoke to a Fort St John woman who started a petition asking for a referendum on whether Syrian refugees should be allowed to settle in B.C.'s northeast. Owen Higdon also lives in Fort St John, and he's launched a counterpetition, saying his fellow citizens should open their arms to those in need.
