IOSH has been recognised for its ongoing support of efforts to raise the standard of occupational safety and health advice in New Zealand. The Institution has worked together with the New Zealand Institute of Safety Management (NZISM) to support the country’s safety and health professionals since 2009. NZISM representative Helen Parkes (pictured left) visited IOSH on Friday 4 December 2015 to present IOSH President Karen McDonnell with a tradition Maori carving in recognition of the working partnership between both organisations. Hear Helen's address to IOSH, in which she spells out how the partnership is helping to change safety and health culture in New Zealand.
