Barnabas Yisa says Statistics are vital for transfer of knowledge and development of a nation.
Meanwhile Chairperson of the National Bureau of Statistics, Isaiah chol says the national statistics system requires strengthening to meet the needs of the country.
The officials were speaking today during the commemoration of the African Statistics Day in Juba. The event was celebrated on November 18 across the continent.
