Sudan Abolishes Charging extra Fees on South Sudanese Students

The government of Sudan has lifted payment of extra tuition fees paid by South Sudanese students studying in Sudanese schools, according to Foreign Affairs Minister, Barnana Marail Benjamin.

Marial said the Sudanese ministry of education agreed to remove payment of $150 for registration by South Sudanese in primary and secondary schools.

The move aims at strengthening bilateral relations and implementation of the 2012 cooperation agreement reached by the two countries, he added.
