BBC Three Counties Radio Presenter Toby Friedner and Dr Chetna Kang launched their new show, "Shrink Wrapped", on 6th January 2013 focusing on Disability and Mental Health, and we were very honoured to be invited to join them for their inaugural show where Rio talked about his new Dorset Orthopaedic Fireman Sam running blade - his very special Christmas present given to him on Xmas Eve 2012 by Dorset Orthopaedic.

Joining us for the interview was Andrea Clarke, Paediatric Physiotherapist and Team Leader of Playskill - a Specialist Pre-School Playgroup in Watford and Hemel Hempstead for Children with Physical Needs, funded by The Big Lottery Fund and Children in Need. Andrea and her skilled team, including an Occupational and Speech & Language Therapist, has worked with Rio over the last four years from when he started at Playskill in January 2009 as an eight month old baby who could barely sit independently, supporting him through his surgery and post-op rehabilitation, and helping him to stand and eventually to walk with his first prosthetic leg, and through all the subsequent changes that every new longer prosthesis brings, helping him to achieve his major milestones. Rio wouldn't be where he is today without Playskill's invaluable help and guidance!
