EXCLUSIVE: Interview with JMEC Chairperson

The Chairperson of the IGAD Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission for South Sudan, Festus Mogae, has stressed the need for a speedy implementation of the peace agreement.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Radio Miraya, Mogae said the upcoming meetings of JMEC will look into the latest political developments in the country.

He also remarked that the implementation of the security arrangements is faced with a lack of adequate funding.

Gabriel Shadar asked him first about the delays in implementation of the peace agreement.
