The I'm a Celebrity SPIDER-GATE controversy rumbles on. TV watchdog Ofcom have announced that the programme will NOT be investigated over an episode that saw contestant Ferne McCann eat a live spider. Despite the fact they received almost 1,500 complaints. McCann was seen munching down on the palm size furry bug - as part of one of the ITV jungle endurance show in December. Is this simply a modern day form of entertainment TV and 'just a spider' - something many of us have squished in our own houses? OR inappropriate and setting a bad example...?
