TTIP is a free trade agreement currently being negotiated between the EU and USA that will have huge implications for democratic processes, environmental regulations, food safety and labour rights. TTIP remains a contentious topic; for some it heralds the dawn of a new economic order but for others the deal poses a serious threat to national sovereignty.
