Four years ago, the Babine Forest Products mill exploded, killing two and injuring 19 others. Survivors and family members of the Babine and Lakeland Mills explosion in Prince George have joined together to file a class action lawsuit against WorkSafeBC.
"Their sense of safety and security that comes with knowing that there's a justice system, a system of accountability and responsibility that you can rely on when harm does come to you- that, too, was shattered, that was betrayed, " says Joanna Gislason,one of the lawyers handling the case.
