BC's mining exploration body wants government regulations to ease

BC is well known for its parks and natural beauty, but is too much of the province off-limits to finding out what's under the surface? The Association of Mineral Exploration in BC says yes. A report released today claims discovering new mine sites is difficult because of a shrinking land base open for exploration. The report was done for the mineral exploration association by environmenal consulting group Hemmera. For more, we have Gavin Dirom on the line. He is the President and CEO of the association.
