Where do they come from?

The other day, in the car, I listened to Three Score Years and Ten http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b06x97fy on Radio 4 about how time steals those we love as we get older.
As I drove home I thought about the value of photos, videos and mementos of those gone and whether it's best to cherish instead our memories only.
Out of this came these words about my parents. I stopped struggled to record them before I forgot and you can hear them just as they appeared.
Where do they come from?
