Cllr Jim Rodgers and Alliance’s @NualaMcAllister clash over Belfast rates rise

Belfast rates are set to rise by 1.48% after a 3 year freeze. There were heated exchanges in the council last night as the issue was being debated. The UUP voted against the rise - and tabled the motion to freeze rates - but this was found NOT TO BE competent because it wasn't supported by costings.
