The Breakfast Run, Bristol: "It's not just the hunger it feeds, it's the loneliness as well."

At 6.30 every Saturday morning, volunteers meet in the kitchen of Christ Church in Clifton, Bristol to prepare a hot breakfast for some of the most vulnerable people in the city. Bacon sarnies, burgers, cake, huge flasks of tea and coffee and much more are packed into the boot of the car and the team head downtown to their spot at the back of the bus station to serve their waiting guests. In this recording, volunteers and guests share what the Breakfast Run means to them.
