Utah GOP "thrilled" to have debate in SLC

Word that the Republican National Committee is adding a GOP debate next month in Salt Lake City is welcome news to state party officials. James Evans, Utah Republican Party Chair, tells KSL the RNC has traditionally selected venues in "battleground" states, but may be recognizing Utah's importance in terms of volunteers and fundraising.
