Four men from the same family and two women have been convicted of grooming girls in Rotherham. Our Chief Reporter Laura Pennington has been at Sheffield Crown Court and has a special report about the case. Three brothers Arshid, Basharat and Bannaras Hussain from Goole were all involved in abusing and sexually exploiting girls in the town between 1987 and 2003. There were fifteen victims in total; the youngest was just 11 when she first met her abusers. A jury found the Hussain brothers' uncle, Qurban Ali, guilty of conspiracy to rape. They also convicted two women. Karen MacGregor, 59, from Wath-upon-Dearne of four charges including conspiracy to rape. Shelley Davies, 40, from Rotherham, was found guilty of two charges including false imprisonment. Two other men Sajid, 38, and Majid Bostan, 37, both from Rotherham, were cleared.
