Eight year ago, school district 59 serving Dawson Creek, Chetwynd, and Tumbler Ridge was dealing with plummeting graduation rates among Aboriginal students. But since adopting a mentorship program from New Zealand, things have turned around. Carolina speaks to director of instruction, Christy Fennell.
