General Election 2016 kicks off

On Wednesday 3rd February the 31st Government of the Republic of Ireland was dissolved and a General Election was called for the 26th February 2016.

We have a look at some of the issues in the first week of campaigning and the latest opinion polls. We also have an update on a poll that we ran on whether Irish people living in Britain were planning on going home to vote and how the political parties and some of the candidates are utilising their time over the next few weeks.
