Diseases Spread From El Niño -- Andrew 119

El Niño weather patterns are not only warming oceans, but also seem to be transporting dangerous diseases, according to the National Institute of Health in Peru. Researchers have discovered that bacteria such as Vibrio and Cholera have been linking on to larger organisms like zooplankton that cross oceans and get eaten by fish that humans later consume. Therefore, El Niño weather may threaten global health in addition to worldwide weather as they did in 1990 with a deadly Cholera outbreak in Peru that led to 13,000 deaths.
