The Zika virus has caused many newborn children to be deformed or mentally challenged. Scientists have been studying the effect of the Zika virus on the womb of a pregnant woman. Scientists are also trying to identify the chance of the Zika virus maiming or killing the womb and causing newborn children to be deformed and/or mentally challenged.
