Juba City Council has warned juba residents of cholera outbreak a head of rainy season. Deputy Mayor David Loro yesterday said Juba is expecting heavy rains in the coming months, urging residents to keep good hygiene in residential areas. He calls on residents to avoid uncontrolled dumping of garbage to reduce the risk of disease outbreaks. Deputy Mayor urged both citizens and foreign nationals to look at Juba City as their homes and keep its surrounding clean. South Sudan suffered back-to back cholera outbreaks in the past two years. There were over 6000 cases including 167 deaths recorded in 2014. And last year, over 1000 cases including 46 deaths were reported
