Beyoncé Speaks Out About Police Brutality, Feminism

In her much-anticipated Elle interview published Tuesday, Beyoncé spoke about the meaning behind her "Formation" video and clarified that she is against police brutality, but not anti-police.

"Anyone who perceives my message as anti-police is completely mistaken. I have so much admiration and respect for officers and the families of officers who sacrifice themselves to keep us safe," Beyoncé said. "But let's be clear: I am against police brutality and injustice.
