A grant from Global’s Make Some Noise Campaign will help children with complex disabilities discover ways to live life to the full.

Children affected by spina bifida and hydrocephalus face a lifetime of health, mobility, social and learning difficulties. The conditions can affect walking, talking, balance, coordination, continence and learning, and leave children feeling very lonely.

Capital Breakfast presenters Matt, Polly and Geraint surprised Shine with a cheque for £30,925 from Global’s Make Some Noise. This will enable Shine to extend its Benny & Bella Club programme of activities, storybooks, educational outreach and family events for children up to 11 years with these conditions.
